CRITICISM ENCOURAGED
These are One of a Kind. According to what I've searched on the internet, including with several different spelling variations just to be sure, I POSSESS THE *ONLY* SET IN EXISTENCE. They will forever be the First of Their Kind.
{!}

I realize that this is not the armour that I have promised some of you, but I still don't have the right bones for it. I truly enjoy the sounds of bones rattling. I think that wind-chimes are to follow. Buttons, jewellery, and the eventual armour can also be expected. [link] <-- A "Punching Dagger" of Bone, Wood, & Hemp; People tell Me it's Pretty.

Hopefully this will suffice for now: A set of Nunchakus that I've hand-crafted from bones that I had found in a forest, with a chain {also hand-made by Me} of rusted steel & shiny copper wire. Tools used: a small saw, a hand-held drill, wire-cutters {for the wire used to craft the chain} & the most basic of all tools in a set that God generously issues to most of us {+ a few extra that He reserves for a special few}: Imagination, creativity, ingenuity, Schizophrenia {I have too much fun with that. My diagnosis is THE Greatest Excuse EVER. Who else would be playing with bones that could belong anybody... erm... make that any*thing*}{<--Funny story involving police & a potential vagrancy charge + a few other things that I Narrowly avoided}, & a Metric Imperial F*ck-Tonne of Free time. I used someone's new-fangled cellular-telephone-camera to take the picture, & sent it to My e-mail via text-message, which I saved on a flash-drive, then uploaded to Deviant Art just now. Much Too Complicated for My preferences. They are in Metal Work because of the chain, as "Other" was just too Vague.

I might etch these later. If someone can teach me how to etch something like this. They are smaller than most nunchakus, & will *only* serve as a DECORATION displayed on a shelf. I may use antlers, provided I find any, to craft a stand for them {UPDATE: I have found ONE antler so far, but it is not enough}. I don't watch much television, & as such, I won't pretend to know how to use them. According to the internet, I've the only set of bonechakus in existence, & I wouldn't want anything negative to happen to something so rare. Speaking of which, how much could I sell these for? I'm going to need more $ once My new job ends. It's seasonal, so I'll be homeless & unemployed again sometime around Christmas, when I'll at last be Truly Free once again.

Also, and again, please, do let Me know if you use My ideas. Or steal them, or whatever it is you plan to do, so long as I'm notified. I'd like to know of what other creativity the Abominations I refer to as My Work hath spawned. }{

...Did Anyone actually Read this?

{*I love Bones. They're neat*}

Freaken' cool, man!

Was going to say, surely they would shatter if you used them. But you thought of that already.

Thanks!! I may very well possess the only set in existence!

My congratulations to you being the first to view & comment!!

How much do you think I could sell them for? Do you know how to etch?
Many people at work think that they are creepy & are the efforts of a deeply disturbed individual come to fruition. I think they're jealous. {Oh, I'm not homeless & unemployed anymore, in case you didn't know.}

:shrug: People tend to pay what I'd consider ridiculous prices for things, so who knows. I don't know how to etch, no.

How ridiculous of a price are you thinking of? I may not actually sell these ones, as they may very well be the first of their kind. Would that raise the price at all?

I may be able to support Myself & My once & Future Lifestyle by selling Items such this after My seasonal job has ended. I'm not used to having a set schedule.

looks like a femur bone to me, probably from a deer. as for the etching . . . what you need is a dremel tool (rotary tool, dremel is the brand, if its not a dremel, then its a piece of shit) it is SUPER VERSATILE! i recommend the cordless lithium-ion pistol grip model. google it

:icongadgetsmith:
Wow, thanks. That may actually be considered "engraving," though. Maybe I have the them confused. Many people whom I have shown these to have suggested that I get a dremel, & now that I have a job, I may be able to purchase one. I'll be sure to search for the one you've mentioned.

Unfortunately, I didn't find any antlers with these. I could have done so many things with those. I'd like to work with coral at some point in the future, as well.

I reserve comment. I am the Wrong Person To Ask.

That's fine I guess. What makes you think that you are the wrong person, though?

At first I was quite shocked but then I realised that they are NOT human bones, so... it's a relief:) The whole idea is quite good, I guess a lot of people would be interested in buying things like this, though you should check whether it's ethical and legal to sell the bones:)

Umm... I guess I could claim that they are "native handicrafts" or something. I found the bones whilst strolling through the woods, so I didn't kill anything to get them, & I don't know of any reason it would be illegal.

How much do you think they would be worth? I'm trying to get as many estimates as possible. I'm quite sure that they are the bones of a deer, as some of the bones still had fur when I'd found them. I was downcast after frantically searching & finding no antlers, though. I would guess that someone killed it solely for its head & just left the carcass in the forest. Pity. Well, at the very least, it wasn't Me, & I gave its death at least some purpose. I only use bones I find, so it can take quite a while before I can craft the Armour I have promised a few people.

As for human bones... I have convinced My father to allow Me the use of his skeleton, once he no longer needs it. He even claims to have written it in his will. *That* may be unethical and shocking. Primate bones have different & somewhat more favourable shapes for some of the projects that I have in Mind...
